When we first moved into our home, twelve years ago, my husband and I slept in the guest bedroom, temporarily. Hurricane Ian destroyed our master bedroom, among other areas in our well-loved home.
Eventually our home will be repaired. I try to focus on a silver lining: our home will be more beautiful than what it was before the storm! It’ll be a joy to show it off and welcome our family and friends. We will once again be able to provide sleepovers for our guests.
