The laundry room is never just a laundry room. It’s a place to store cleaning supplies, and often doubles as a pantry, wash, dry and fold clothes, iron, a place to feed/water a pet and, oh, did I mention it’s usually the size of a small closet? Organizing and decorating this multi-taking space is not exactly the most exciting project on your home wish list, but there’s no reason it can’t be a pretty space. Sometimes the only thing you need to makeover your laundry room is to add some color, make it look pretty and inviting, and find a place to store all the junk that accumulates in that room.
C’mere, follow me. I have something to show you. It’s amazing to see what Laurie did to her laundry room. Let’s take a peek on what’s on the other side of this door.
I adore everything about this laundry room! I love the classic design of the encaustic cement floor tiles, the cabinets from Designer’s Choice Cabinetry painted in Ballard Blue, the pure white Pompeii quartz countertop, the Richelieu pull hardware, the homeowner’s existing tile backsplash, and her creative decorating ideas. Laurie swapped out the ugly detergent containers for pretty glass jars and labeled them. Laurie’s lovely home will charm you the minute you walk through her front door. She did her magic when she decorated every single one of her rooms uniquely!
Just Counters & Other Stuff provided and installed the beautiful blue cabinets and Imex Stone installed the stunning quartz countertop. They both did a wonderful job. What’s your favorite part of this workhorse of a laundry room?
